Club Lacrosse (Women’s)

About Us

The Georgetown University Women’s Club Lacrosse Team is established to enjoy the sport of women’s lacrosse in a fun and competitive atmosphere. We compete in the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Lacrosse League (MAWLL), which is a part of the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA). Our team has also been consistently ranked at the national level within the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Organization (WCLO).

How to Join

We hold tryout rounds during the first few weeks of the Fall semester. Tryouts are open to everyone; club members will observe players and collectively make determinations about who is accepted into the club.

Time Commitment

Practices are two times per week for two hours each on campus. Practice is not required, but highly recommended to improve our team’s chemistry and to grow as a team to compete at a high level.

Dues

Dues will be starting at $25 per semester per person, which covers transportation, lodging, referee fees, and equipment.
