Leavey Banner Space

There are four (4) locations in the Leavey Center where banners may be hung. The locations and stipulations for hanging banners are:

• Leavey 429 to Leavey 333
  The maximum size for the banner is 9ft. wide by 8 ft. long. The top of the banner must be secured onto the outside cleats from the inside of Leavey 429 and the bottom of the banner must be secured onto the cleats from the inside of Leavey 327 using six feet of string on each corner. Any banner, which extends beyond the windows of Leavey 329 will be removed.
• Career Center Balcony to columns in front of Leavey
  The maximum size for the banner is 18 ft. wide by 6 ft. long. Use 3 ft. of string from the top and 15 ft. of string from the bottom of the banner to tie it to the cleats on the front columns of the Leavey Center.
• Leavey Center Bridge
  The maximum size for the banner is 40 ft. wide by 6 ft long. Use 3 ft. of string to tie the top of the banner to the cement railings and 15 ft. of string to tie the bottom of the banner to the cement columns under the bridge.

Once the request has been confirmed by the Office Coordinator for dates, student organizations must coordinate with the Office of Campus Activity Facilities to gain access to rooms 429, 333 and Career Center Balcony.

Confirmed banner requests by other University departments/organizations must be

• Approved by the department head for your area
• Scheduled and coordinated with the Office Coordinator in order to gain access to 429, 333 and Career Center Balcony

The maximum length of time for a banner to hang from the Leavey Center is seven days.

All organizations are required to remove their banners at the end of the scheduled reservation period. The Office of Campus Activity Facilities reserves the right to dispose of all banners not removed within 24 hours after the conclusion of the event.
